Erin M. Kyker, Senior Paralegal
As all of our clients can attest, Erin has a mind for detail, a heart for service and the drive to go above and beyond all expectations to meet the legal needs of our clients and their families. Her 8 years of experience in estate administration and estate planning matters is vital to our team, as are her organizational and practical skills which she frequently applies when working with county Clerk's offices. Raised in Maryland, Erin moved to the Charlotte area in 2013. She is actively involved in her church as a worship leader and enjoys spending time outside with her husband, spunky young daughter, and dog, Izzy.
Erin B. Patterson, Founding Partner
Erin has extensive experience counseling high net worth clients with their advanced estate plan and business goals as well as their estate administration needs. Erin also recently became licensed to practice law in South Carolina and this year was selected as one of Business North Carolina's 2021 Legal Elite for Tax & Estate Planning and was named among the 2021 SuperLawyers North Carolina Rising Stars, a recognition she has now received for 3 straight years. Although originally from New Orleans, Erin has called Charlotte home for over 12 years, and lives in Dilworth with her husband, two young children, and dog, Mojeaux.
Jeanna S. Shelton, Associate Attorney
Jeanna began her career as a paralegal where she gained invaluable practical experience helping clients discover, plan for, and address their legal goals. She is now in her fifth year of practicing law as an attorney and has tailored and developed her legal skills in the areas of estate planning and business law, frequently helping young families and professionals navigate questions related to guardianship for minor children, creditor protection, and business interest matters. A Florida native, Jeanna and her husband have lived in Charlotte since 2018 with their dog, Teddy, and in 2020 welcomed their first child to the family.
