Laurie Ferreira is a dedicated and efficient paralegal overseeing many of the estate administration and trust administration matters at the firm. Laurie recognizes that for many people, their first introduction to estate administration/probate occurs when they are in the midst of grieving a loved one. Her career motivation is to support those struggling with loss, to put their minds at ease about the legal aspects of the process, and to make their burden lighter by exhibiting compassion. In short, she works hard to help them feel that they are not alone.
Prior to joining Erin Patterson Law, Laurie worked with the Massachusetts Probate Courts for 13 years in the guardianship area of law. She then relocated to North Carolina after losing her own parents and sought to deepen her understanding of the estate administration process as a result. Laurie spent several years at another Charlotte-area firm assisting in all aspects of estate administration - helping to prepare court filings, coordinating with other advisors and third parties, and building relationships with clients of the firm who came to trust her organization, expertise, and keen attention to detail.
Outside of the office, Laurie enjoys spending time on the lake with her husband and two adult sons as well as reading, knitting and painting.
